Istraživanje o Domu mladih naših volonterki Skyler i Maríe
“On Thursday and Friday (on July 1 and 2) we spent some time conducting research to see how informed the people of Split are about Dom Mladih. We asked a large group of random people from all age groups at different locations. We asked people around the Palace, on the Riva, on the bus (number 9), and around Dom Mladih itself. Most of the people on the Riva and in the Palace had no idea where or what the Youth Center was. Most of the bus drivers knew where the building was, but not what it was used for.
People around the building knew that it is the Youth Center, but aren’t exactly sure what it’s used for. Most people around Dom Mladih knew about the galleries, and that events are often held in the space outside. Some people offered to do some research about the Youth Center and were enthusiastic to learn more about it. They also offered to show us how to get there, but had to use their google maps. All in all it seems like people have a general idea of where the building is, but not what it’s used for. All of them were happy to answer our questions and wanted to know more about the activities and events that will happen in the future. They know how important it is to have these kind of events to get the community involved.”
